PhiBrows is a microblading technique that draws individual hair strokes into the skin, following the natural direction of your own brow hair. The result is natural, soft and symmetrical, and it holds its shape through swims, gym sessions and wedding mornings.

Aoibheann is a certified PhiBrows artist and has been doing semi-permanent brows and makeup at G&G since 2020. Every treatment starts with a consultation and a mapped, hand-drawn shape you approve before a single stroke goes in.

What to expect

Three visits, one set of brows

Consultation and mapping

We talk through the shape and colour you want, check suitability and do a patch test. Your brows are measured and drawn on before anything else.

The treatment

Hair strokes are placed one by one with a hand tool, using pigment matched to your hair and skin. Numbing keeps it comfortable. Allow around two hours.

Healing and top-up

Brows look bold for a week and settle over four to six weeks. A perfecting top-up afterwards fills anything that faded. Colour boosts keep them fresh.

Questions brides ask

How long do PhiBrows last?

Typically twelve to eighteen months, depending on your skin type, sun exposure and skincare. A colour boost keeps them crisp.

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream is used throughout. Most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation.

How far ahead of my wedding should I book?

At least three months, so you have your initial appointment, healing and top-up done well before the day.
